Laboratory Technician seeking employment

" I hold a Bachelor of Science Majoring in biotechnology and cell and molecular bioscience from Victoria University of Wellington and have had the privilege of working across New Zealand's government and research institutions.

I have formally worked for AsureQuality assisting in immunological diagnostic testing to eradicate of M. bovis from New Zealand. Following this I moved to the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research (MIMR). Here I was apart of the allergic and parasitic disease team playing a key role in parasite research and how they could potentially be used as a therapeutic.

After 2 and a half years at MIMR I shifted to the Animal Health Laboratory at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) working within the Immunology team performing a wide range of immunological diagnostic tests to serve the biosecurity of New Zealand. My time at the Animal Health Laboratory at MPI gave me the opportunity to contribute to the microbiology, genomics and virology teams in performing their testing. This enabled me to learn a wide range of skills, work collaboratively within each team and hone my skills that I had previously acquired through research at MIMR and testing at AsureQuality.

Now, I am still working within MPI but I am currently working within the New Zealand Fisheries directorate in the monitoring and surveillance team. I am fast learner, intelligent and I am able to adapt to thrive in different working environments.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries or comments regarding my CV or application.
