I am a linesman with over 10 years of experience in Trinidad. I worked for the country's national energy provider and have worked my way from apprentice to 'Hotline A' class working on live lines. My three-year apprenticeship, which represents my formal training, was done with the organisation. I was awarded the most outstanding Linesman Trainee and have multiple in-house training that was provided to me. I am eager to learn about the UK overhead line system and am willing to re-train as necessary.

Installation, construction, re-construction and maintenance of HV and LV overhead lines and power cables. Climbing of poles and structures, Insulation and continuity tests on conductors, measuring of loads and changes voltage ratios and checks phase rotations on transformers, connect/reconnect and disconnect customers supply of electricity, interprets preliminary surveys, prepare sketches and make recommendations, tests and earths overhead lines.
