Coordinates the workshop on day to day activities, Take complaints from drivers and determined job to be done, test drive trucks to determine fault, request for items required for the maintenance job, work closely with the material store to ensure that items required for the maintenance job are readily available and ensure that the genuine items are used, update the job cards and maintain a job history of all vehicles and equipment, ensure that vehicles are serviced as at when due, closely supervise the technicians for an efficient service, appraise the technicians, ensure safety standards is adhered to at all times, make maintenance decision to save cost of maintenance, educate the drivers on safe handling of vehicles, assist the management with technical decisions etc.
