I am one of the youngest students ever to join a UK university at the young age of 16. This enabled me to graduate my BEng as I approached 19, making me among the youngest BEng graduates in the UK or at least at Teesside University.
I completed my MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Teesside University in October 2021, earning a Distinction. Additionally, I hold a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering with First Class Honours, awarded in June 2020.
Various technical skills were developed and enhanced during the BEng and MSc courses as they involved completing numerous technical and numerical tasks that covered a wide range of engineering and IT skills. Software like ANSYS Fluent, Solidworks, and Siemens NX were used in many modules to design and / or process simulations of various models ranging from a tile cutter and a shower unit to aerofoils, turbine blades, gliders, wings, and subsonic aircraft components; all of which included sketching, modelling, assembling, meshing, simulating, and the publication of 2D drawings and BOMs for effective manufacturing.
My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in engineering and numeric principles alongside the development of soft skills too, and I have continually sought opportunities to apply these skills in practical settings.
For the past 3 years, I have been working and delivering globally recognised, impactful, and international projects funded with millions of Euros by world wide European funding bodies such as the ERDF (European Region Development Fund) and Horizon Europe.
For these reasons, I think that I would be an invaluable asset to any company that hires me.
