As a mechanical fitter, I consider myself a behind-the-scenes guy, one who has to make sure that life is as enjoyable as people have become accustomed to while also impacting on the next stage of human civilization. This I fulfill through the provision of equipment that influences people's lives daily and ensuring that the same equipment is readily available and safe to operate. To the organization I will be joining, I bring onboard experience, ability to machine and carry out maintenance at the same time, ability to improvise and understanding of the business side of my role.
Class One Journeyman- Fitting and Turning
National Certificate- Machineshop Engineering
Fitter and Turner- Verify Gases. Responsible for manual machining on lathe, milling and drilling machines, fitting, assembly, planning maintenance schedules and carrying out maintenance, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair liquid oxygen plant equipment, associated equipment and customers' equipment.
Assistant Operator- Dairibody Zimbabwe Limited. Responsible for setting up for production of sterilized milk, run production, maintain hygiene around work area and report to supervisor.
