In over one year of teaching experience, I have dealt with students of age 6 to 17 overlooking British curriculum subjects. Dealing with kids is not an easy task, thus I equally treated each of them with patience and kindness to instil confidence in them. With my friendly approach, my students were able to communicate their issues, providing a safe learning environment. I devoted hours of teaching and focused on the lessons that students found the toughest to learn by making easier for them to understand. Their attentiveness was assessed by taking surprise tests, enabling them to be more attentive in each lesson. Every two weeks, I discussed the student's academic progress with their parents to inform where they are standing academically.
I followed, "Teach, Practice, Recall, Repeat", technique that enabled students to achieve their full potential, for instance, facilitated students' results from 50% to 90%. These accomplishments were not possible with strong teamwork, I worked closely with my students' parents to tailor my early course contents to reach certain goals. For example, the mother of a Grade 1 student requested me to finish the Grade 1 syllabus in 6 months to accelerate the student's promotion to Grade 2.
