I am an experienced and compassionate Nurse Midwife . As such, I possess a Diploma in Nursing Science, Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife. In Additionally, I have certification on first aid and CPR,Basic life support skills.
I am willing to expand my knowledge through international conferences on different aspects of nursing which includes gynecology related issues and infertility.
I am presently working in Edo Specialist Hospital as a Nurse /Midwife where I perform both obstetrics and gynaecological related roles with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
I also contribute to systems for monitoring crucial health status indicators such as environmentally caused illnesses, immunization levels, infant mortality rates, and communicable disease occurrence, in order to identify problems that threaten the public's health and develop effective interventions.
I have accurate hand-eye coordination and compassion when performing venepuncture. As an acute nurse, I work on the front line with patients and draw blood for tests, research, donation, or even transfusions. Some of my typical daily duties were preparing patients before drawing blood, explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the process. Following all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work areas.
