Healthcare Assistant - I have been working as a healthcare assistant since 2017. I provide person-centred and personal care, ensuring clients' comfort, respect and dignity. Some of my roles include meal preparation, record keeping (e.g. daily report/ activities, food and fluid chat), attending handovers, supporting clients with personal care, collecting Covid -19 samples and screening clients for Covid, supporting the patient with toileting, repositioning patient in bed, use of hoists, observing and engaging with clients, managing risks, creating SMART/collaborative care plan, record change in clients presentation, work flexibly according to the rota including shifts, monitoring blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate and respiration and ensuring the health and safety of the clients, my colleagues and me by following covid protocol and organization policy.
