Throughout my career, I have remained committed to utilizing my position in order to ensure that our team continues to provide top-quality mobile health services to those in underrepresented regions in a way that is efficient, socially-conscious, and compassionate. As I plan my intended relocation to the United Kingdom, I have researched many top-quality programs with a similar goal of providing for the needs of their clients in a way that is effective, ethical, and innovative. I am excited at the prospect of contributing my expertise to this mission.
As an experienced program coordinator, I have honed my skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making. I have been involved with developing the Kedren-CDU Street Medicine Program since near the time of its inception through to its current state, during which I have had a variety of responsibilities such as documenting data, creating educational curricula, collaborating with community partners, grant writing and reporting, as well as whatever additional tasks were needed in order to ensure our success. I understand the importance of wearing many hats and making informed decisions that benefit public wellness. Furthermore, my experience in medical justice and advocacy has enabled me to develop a deep understanding of the intersection between program development and innovative thinking. I am confident that I can provide valuable insights into the disproportionate barriers marginalized communities face and support efforts to promote equity in ways that are fiscally realistic as well as effective in serving your target audience.
