Responsible for providing construction, fibre optic telecoms and maintenance services to the NATO forces in several camps in the Helmand Province. In charge of multinational teams of workers. Installed and commissioned CCTV and PA systems in Camp Bastion. In charge of setting up, moving, and closing down other camps during the course of the campaign.

Provided the full package to the army for deployment, Operations and Maintenance, and stores supply facilities. Ultimately responsible for the maintenance of $80 million worth of military equipment in military bases across the country.

Recruited, inducted, trained and administered a team of 20 technicians as part of the unique Ch 5 national television retuning project for the northern half of Yorkshire.

Anti-Aircraft Radar specialist, technician and instructor. Adviser in general operations and maintenance, working in 8 bases across the country in mechanical, electrical and electronics maintenance. Prepared and delivered training courses in electronic theory and maintenance procedures for the Saudi Military at the National Training Institute, Jidda. Managed teams of technicians across regional bases.
1985-1986
Telecommunications Engineer, Saudi Government
Primary liaison between contractors and employer. Head of Change Order Committee for the building of the city, liaising between the military and the American Corps of Engineers. Supervised the installation and commissioning of telephone exchanges, security systems, cabling networks and radio systems for a $1 billion military city construction project. Responsible for the handover of a hospital from the construction company to the Saudi customer.
