DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Related to QA /QC Welding & Piping

 Preparation, Review & approval of Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) Quality Requirements.

 Fit-Up & Visual Inspection of Weld and Joint

 Monitoring of Post Weld Heat Treatment (P.W.H.T)

 Preparing the as built for Final Modification according to Site Conditions.

 Final Clearance for Hydro Test Packages.

 Witnessing Hydro tests, Pneumatic test’s Through Client.

 Preparation of Final Documents for System Handover to Commissioning Team .

 Preparation of inspection reports submit the client.

 Piping Line Installation inspection with reference to Isometric Drawings & P&ID

 To Inspect the Fit-Up, Weld visuals, Dimensional & Planarity, Equipment Alignment

 Conduct reinstatement of piping after pressure test, monitor internal cleaning by air blowing, fitting up of new appropriate gaskets, bolts and nuts tightness

RELATED TO WELDING INSPECTOR :

 Inspection of the Pre Heating, Inter pass Temperature and Post Weld heat Treatment.

 Inspection of Non-Destructing Testing in Weldments such as Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic particle testing and Dye penetrate Testing.

 Reviewing the Radiography films & Reports and Coordinating for the repair Welds.

 Checking the Essential Parameters as per the W.P.S Requirements and Quality Procedures.

 Visual and Gauge inspection in fit-up’s before and after welding

 To check the proper electrodes are used for the respective materials and the temperature has been maintained as per the electrode manual.

 Handled welding process like GTAW, SMAW & SAW as per international codes and standards such as ASME V, ASME IX , ASME B31.3, 31.1

 To arrange NDE inspection as required by project procedure after the completion of Weld Visual.

 Monitoring of preheating & PWHT procedures.

 Witness & documentation of non destructive testing’s (RT,PT,UT&MT).

 Radiographic film interpretation & evaluation.
