I was raised by a panel beater, my father. I learned the old school method (Argentina), then moved to the UK in 2004. I learned in the UK all the technological advances used to in the car repair industry. I moved to the Netherlands 2 weeks ago (Nijmegen), and I have the social security number or BSN. Therefore, all the admin tasks are sorted.
Besides my car repair skills, I also have academic qualifications. Working in the automotive repair industry helped to pay for my British education. I hold a BA Hons Sociology and MA (research route) International Relations - International Politics. I used applied sociology in the automotive industry the last few years, and I am able to help in marketing and recruitment strategies, workforce cohesion, snap reports for both clients and business owners, and I am trained in qualitative and quantitative research methods. In turn, the employer ends having both an experienced technician (car damage repairs) highly educated that can put at the service of the company social research methods vital for the business development.
