Transmission Assembler
My role at the JCB transmissions factory in Wrexham was firstly a Skilled Transmissions assembler which entails the assembly of the various transmissions fitted to the wide range of JCB machinery and secondly from time to time I have been called upon by the company to visit other sites in the group and rectify any faults or quality issues there may be on transmission components,that concern the Wrexham transmission division.
Key Achievement:
Involved with the development and final stage production of a totally new transmission set to be installed in the JCB well established fast trac agricultural tractor. Then worked on the production line assembling the new transmission.

Responsible for the day to day inspection, maintenance and repair of coal extraction Caterpillar Komatsu and O&K heavy plant.
Responsible for the ordering of any supplies needed for the repair and maintenance of the machinery.
