I took part in an experimental course at Wessex Vocational Training Centre in Yeovil in 2006 for 1 week. It was aimed at females and was based on basic vehicle maintenance and repair. This spurred an interest in my future career path.
I also took the opportunity to do work experience at Mynster Motors in Ilminster in 2006 working on and servicing cars for 2 weeks. I enjoyed the work and chose to pursue a career in the motor vehicle trade.
I enrolled at Somerset College on a Light Vehicle Apprenticeship in 2007 and found a job at Lift West, my boss then thought that Bridgwater College would be a better choice so I transferred in 2008.
