As an adept educator, I have a 6-year well-rounded background in teaching and refined talents in lesson plans implementation. Also, I have completed the PGCEi course as well as the CELTA course; in addition to the Advanced TEFL certificate, and I am ecstatic to continue applying what I have learned. Additionally, I am a proven expert in teamwork and a consistent collaborator. My previous roles have strengthened my abilities in planning and time management, including a focused attention to detail and accuracy. Due to my exceptional appraisals, I have been appointed as a lead practitioner and mentor this year; my main role is to support newly qualified teachers or aspiring teacher assistants in reaching the required level of excellence to become more qualified teachers.
Inside the classroom, I always put relationships with my pupils before anything else; for I believe that when children feel safe and loved, they become more confident and ready to learn. I also strongly believe that a passionate teacher will make her students love learning. I constantly set high goals for my pupils, and I demonstrate determination to provide all that I can to fill their social, emotional and academic developmental needs; while at the same time building morally sound and strong characters who have the ability and motivation to look forward to a bright future and become successful contributors to their community.
