I am an enthusiastic, motivated team player nurse with over nine years of nursing experience, I have registered with NMC passed ielts and adult cbt ,I have passion for delivering of outstanding patient care while maintaining empathy. I have developed excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues through many years of practice. I have great management skills and I efficiently make use of both time and resources. I work well under pressure and capable of effective multitasking which is a paramount skill needed when working in a fast paced environment such as hospital. I am well skilled in patient assessment and care, risk assessment ,pain assessment, airway assessment, basic life support, scrubbing circulating, recovery of patients from anaesthesia and multiple nursing care plans,drug calculation and administration, patient teaching and fluent in English language.I re-validate my license every 3 years to maintain my registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) by attending the mandatory continuing professional development program to acquire the required cpd point in which I will also maintain with the NMC while working in UK.,this helps me to continually develop and reflect on my practice, and the role of the Code in my practice and demonstrate that, I am 'living' the standards set out within it.
I am currently working in an orthopedic hospital as a theater nurse with a locum job in a private hospital in a surgical ward,I also participate in community outreach organized by my hospital and church, I have gained a lot of invaluable skills while working and driven by my passion I am currently pursuing my degree with an expected graduation date of January 2024 and I have attended seminars, online studies and webinar on Alison platform, Operating Room Global, wcea and other's to enable me keep updated on resent trends.I am also proficiently trained in basic office skills and electronic health records systems as I have been using them throughout my practice.
