-Design, program and coordinate the implementation of simulation systems to meet educational needs throughout the system.
-Assume responsibility for the design, maintenance and repair of computerized manikins, task trainers and related multimedia peripherals.
-Analyzes and resolves user problems and prepares documentation and information for nontechnical users.
-Assists and advises management in areas such as procurement of hardware, software and audio/visual equipment including: cost, installation and use, software modification, and user education, training and orientation.

American Heart Association Program Coordinator
-Coordinate, monitor and provide the instruction of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, Stroke and STEMI education.
-Serve as the Training Center Coordinator for five training sites, two private hospitals and the four hospitals within the Methodist Health System. There are approximately 200 courses per year and service is provided to approximately 2000 clinicians annually.
-Manage a pool of part time and PRN instructors, serve as a mentor for new staff, provide guidance for hospital staff on process improvement and serve as a resource for the EMT, Paramedic and Graduate Medical Education programs.
-Collaborate with the Department of Education staff to provide initial resuscitation education to staff, nurse interns and physicians.
– Creation and management of the Simulation training lab. Adult, child and infant simulation training equipment used in the initial and continuing education of staff members.
-Serve as a member of the AHA Council on Stroke.
-Professional member of the American Heart Association.
-Appointed as Regional Faculty for 2012-2014 and function as a mentor for Dallas and Tarrant county hospitals and private entities that provide AHA programs. This position is appointed by current Regional Faculty to those who exhibit exceptional leadership and continuously provide quality education.
