Warehousing manager seeking work in America

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with over 10 years of work experience in public health supply chain management, operations, administration, finance, and business development.

I currently worked with USAID GHSC-PSM Project as a Warehousing and Distribution Associate gaining some valuable experience in medical waste management as well as management of warehousing and distribution of public health commodities.

Previously, as a medical waste management consultant and field logistics intern with USAID GHSC-PSM Project, operations manager with Shazain, supply chain officer with Enagic Africa and business development/account manager with UNICEF Cooperative Society, I worked on the collection, collation, review, and validation of logistics data for family planning, HIV/AIDS, and malaria commodities. I ensured that donor-procured health commodities within health facilities continuously fell within the min/max range established for each product by supporting the Logistics Management Coordination Unit (LMCU) in the states. I also executed MNCH situational analysis assessment in Bauchi, Kebbi and Sokoto States which afforded me a good knowledge of MNCH programming and birthed the provision of health system strengthening by USAID and this has improved access to MNCH commodities in three States. I conducted monitoring and supportive visits to health facilities, collated and consolidated monthly reports, generated last-mile distribution orders, tracked external correspondence with stakeholders, monitored pick and pack activities of public health commodities for last-mile deliveries, documented performance monitoring across the states on all task orders, facilitated and tracked financial requests approval and expense reports, maintained quarterly activity and leave logs, trained over 50 distributors, developed templates for different activities, coordinated trading activities, managed financial accounting and database, payroll recovery, organized office operations and procedures, reconciled bank statements/cash books and prepared monthly financial reports, ensured proper supporting documents, prepared payment and receipt vouchers, maintained internal expenditures control and auditable filing systems.

My experiences have enabled me to maintain a network of communication and consultation with colleagues, and stakeholders at various levels in a multicultural environment and honed my skills in good managerial skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet set targets and deadline as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs; Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Access.
