Over the course of my four years career, I've developed a skill set directly relevant to a WELDER role, including facilities engineering, field performance and project design. I learned the ins and out of the industry, including handling projects with minimal supervision.
- Proactive in preparation for being safety and uses initiative in response;
- Knowledgeable of handling equipment using MIG/FCAW/GTAW/GMAW and SMAW welding process;
- Good with speaking and writing in English communication skills;
- Ability to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead position;
- Have outstanding capability to identify the problem and implement accurate solutions;
- Ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations following the supervisor's instructions;
- Ability to read blueprints, manufacturing orders and follow instructions given either verbally or in writing;
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, calipers and other measuring tools;
- Ability to add two - digits numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's;
- Ability to stand and move about on concrete 8 - 12 hours a day;
- Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50pounds) multiple times daily in a 10 - 12 hours shift;
- Ability to maneuver large parts and assemblies (up to 180pounds by pushing, pulling, and flipping them into place;
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
