CNC Machinist & Programmer Needed in the USA

Skills Provision is searching for CNC Machinist & Programmer for a company in the United States.

The employer requires a CNC Specialist who can carry out bench and floor work, using precision measuring instruments. Candidates must be proficient at reading blueprint documents and making standard computations related to the dimensions of work and determination of a machines speed.

Role

• Perform typical machine shop operations.
• Operate CNC machines once set-up has been complete.
• Run multiple machines where cycle times allow.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding.
• Perform an inspection of machined products (including documentation of results).
• Inspect and measure parts after machining operation is complete.
• Complete and maintain all paperwork.

Requirements

• Expertise in reading and understanding mechanical drawings, dimensioning and tolerances.
• High ability to design machining processes for build-to-print parts.
• Ability to work with CAD software and to design fixtures and create drawings needed for machining.
• Vast knowledge of precision machining workmanship standards.
• Minimum of 10 years machine shop experience.
• Computer literate.
• Hardworking nature.
• Work well under pressure.
