Construction Manager required in Bulgaria

Skills Provision is recruiting a Construction Manager for a contracting company in Sofia, Bulgaria. Applicants should have site experience. The successful candidate will be required to manage projects, both small and large as necessary ensuring the projects meet the client’s agreed requirements and standards.

The Role

• Contribute to the development of the business by providing construction management services to the selected clients.
• Provide guidance and leadership to enable the successful coordination of construction projects from design to completion.
• Provide guidance and leadership to ensure that construction projects deliver the clients’ planned performance and time targets through the effective use of project methodology, planning, etc.
• Provide guidance and leadership to apply, develop and control where necessary, appropriate construction systems for all projects and promote their efficient use across all project work.
• Maintain as required a suitably sized, multi-disciplinary team to ensure a flexible response to client needs and efficient utilisation of resources.
• Provide the line management function for assigned personnel
• Work closely with clients, functional leads, account managers and the Directors to develop relationships and identify potential opportunities for additional work.
• Promote effective communication with all the businesses within the company so that knowledge is shared, and best practices implemented on our clients’ projects.
• Keep abreast of current good construction management practices and identify opportunities to use them to improve the quality of project performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience
• The ideal candidate will require significant experience in managing a wide range of multi-discipline projects concurrently
• Good organisational, time management and interpersonal skills are necessary to cope with competing demands for resources and different client requirements.
• Detailed operator
• Sound management skills
• Fluent Bulgarian and intermediate English language skills
