Electrical Systems Engineer Needed in the UK

Our client requires an Electrical Systems Engineer to work at their site in the UK.

Salary & Benefits

• £65,000 per annum

The Role

• Reviewing and updating Standards and Processes.
• Reviewing and updating Processes to ensure conformance to these standards.
• Generating relevant metrics to track the departments adherence to relevant standards and processes.
• Taking data, provided from the plants, and ensuring that all lessons learned are embedded into the departments future design processes.

Requirements

• Proven ability in developing new processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery.
• An understanding of plant-based vehicle configuration and test systems.
• Ability to use logging devices and other data loggers to capture vehicle data.
• Experience in developing new processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery.
• Knowledge of Product Development structure and processes.
• An understanding of hardware and software design, and Electrical Integration concepts such as diagnostics. Used to reporting out at various levels of the business. “
• Prior experience of writing Processes for Manufacturing. Experience in technical problem identification and resolution.
• Degree level education.
• Good all round working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
• Able to perform statistical data analysis.
• Ability to build relationships across all functions.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• PC literate, especially MS office.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Full driving Licence.
