The Role

As Electronics Design Engineer, you will contribute to the full product design lifecycle of portable instrumentation, from initial concept, through to manufacture. Working with a dynamic team, you will work with portable radiation measurement devices aimed at a diverse range of markets, including the Oil & Gas sector. You will work to customer requirements, budgets and set timescales, and be responsible for the production of high-quality product specifications and documentation, that you may independently manage or run as part of a larger team.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in Electronics and have demonstrable experience in a similar electronics design role.
• You will also have broad experience of the design and development of electronic instrumentation.
• We are looking for a creative and organised character, who has excellent interpersonal skills and can work within a fast-paced environment, bringing new and innovative ideas to the forefront.
• Previous experience of product use in an explosive environment is advantageous.
