Financial Officer Required in Sweden

Skills Provision is searching for a Financial Officer for a company in Sweden.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preserving the assets and financial stability of the company through effective loan management.

Role

• Manage the loan department
• Maintain full responsibility for collections.
• Manage and facilitate resolution of consumer loans that are not performing or distressed.
• Perform timely follow up action on missed payments.
• Analyse the extent of potential loss created by a troubled loan.
• Assist underwriters.
• Review loan files for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Schedule loan signings.
• Review cross selling opportunities.
• Develop and utilise pipeline management systems.
• Prepare closure documents.
• Manage workflow documents to maintain maximum efficiency.
• Train staff on the fundamentals of mortgage lending and obtaining a loan.
• Visit branches to assist in training courses.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum of 10 years managerial experience in a financial setting.
• Exceptional understanding of loan processes.
• Thorough knowledge of real estate principles, practices, rules, and regulations.
• Knowledge of residential mortgages.
• Skill, aptitude, and interest in sales.
• Strong IT user.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to act independently and confidentially, using discretion and tact.
• Ability to analyse situations and recommend workable solutions.
• Ability to coordinate a variety of activities and prioritise work.
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel.
