High Voltage Electrical Engineer Required in Austria

Skills Provision is searching for a High Voltage Electrical Engineer for a company in Austria.

Our client provides utility infrastructure services for High-Voltage systems.

Location: Linz, Austria

Position: 2-year contract

Salary & Benefits

• €81,000 p/a

The Role

• Design and engineer electrical substations, transmission, and distribution systems of 5kV to 60kV
• Develop schematic diagrams, including physical layout of outdoor major equipment.
• Develop engineering documents, specifications, and procedures
• Develop project scope, proposals, estimates, and budgets
• Develop bill of materials for outdoor hardware, order materials, and coordinate construction activities
• Coordinate installation and commissioning with clients and subcontractors
• Interact with the company clients

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience with high-voltage systems.
• Experience with outdoor substation, hardware, bus, connectors, HV switches, insulators, lightning arresters, etc.
• Substation grounding design.
• Experience leading and supporting projects from commencement through completion.
• Proficiency with related IT systems.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Hardworking attitude.
