Skills Provision is searching for an experienced Operations Manager for a reputable organisation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The employing business has been running for over 30 years; manufacturing and supplying wood and metal-based, furniture across commercial, industrial, educational, and hospitality markets.
Work permit/sponsorship is available for this role.

AED 20,000-25,000 p/m (basic, HRA, and transport)

The Role
Oversee and manage the production team to promote streamlined and efficient production schedules
Implement an online planning system, following company procedures, and record-keeping
Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operations
Maintain and strive to exceed quality standards
Supervise inventory levels, ensuring timely sourcing of materials
Manage expenses and budgeting
Lead, mentor, and inspire the team
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations Management or related field
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in operations management within the furniture manufacturing industry is essential; covering, carpentry, joinery, painting, and upholstery
Experience with metal products including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, powder coating, etc. would be advantageous
Track record of success in management and optimising processes
Experience implementing safety protocols
Strong workforce management skills
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of Six Sigma/Kaizen would be preferred
Strong leadership skills
Able to adapt and navigate changing priorities
Confident verbal and written communicator in English. Arabic would also be welcomed
