Operations Manager (Manufacturing) required in Dubai

Skills Provision is searching for an experienced Operations Manager for a reputable organisation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The employing business has been running for over 30 years; manufacturing and supplying wood and metal-based, furniture across commercial, industrial, educational, and hospitality markets.

Work permit/sponsorship is available for this role.

Title: Operations Manager

Position: Full-time

Location: Dubai, UAE

Contract: 2 years (renewable)

Package

AED 20,000-25,000 p/m (basic, HRA, and transport)

The Role

• Oversee and manage the production team to promote streamlined and efficient production schedules
• Implement an online planning system, following company procedures, and record-keeping
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain and strive to exceed quality standards
• Supervise inventory levels, ensuring timely sourcing of materials
• Manage expenses and budgeting
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the team
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations Management or related field

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment, preferably furniture manufacturing
• Track record of success in management and optimising processes
• Experience implementing safety protocols
• Strong workforce management skills
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Kaizen would be preferred
• Strong leadership skills
• Able to adapt and navigate changing priorities

• Confident verbal and written communicator in English. Arabic would also be welcomed
