Planning Engineer Required in the UAE

Skills Provision is searching for a Planning Engineer to support a service-based company in the Middle East.

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Salary & Benefits

• AED 9000-12000 p/m

The Role

• Must have the ability to produce a robust project plan covering all aspects of a task.
• Responsibilities include but not limited to monitoring and reporting the projects progress, preparing all reports, preparing short-term / recovery programmes in liaison with the Project Manager / Engineers.
• Track events and maintain all relevant records.
• Ensure the subcontractors work programmes are in line with the baseline requirements.
• Work closely with the Planning Manager & reporting any project status issues.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of subcontractors
• Make sure all supplied tooling is fit for purpose and diligently managed
• Stand in for the Planning Manager as and when required
• Attend conferences and meetings
• Chair subcontractor meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Supporting engineering qualifications would be beneficial
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Previously prepared programs in procurement
• IT proficient
• Proactive and diligent engineer
• Meticulous planner
• Dedicated operator
