The Role

• Assess, plan, implement safe care for patients during labour, delivery, post-partum and newborn care
• Confident in all principles associated with obstetrics, including:
  • Prenatal care
  • Monitoring pregnancy
  • Labour and delivery support
  • Medical procedure assistance
  • Postpartum care
  • Complication management
  • Patient education
  • Documentation charting

Requirements

• At least 1 year of working experience
• A minimum of 6 months perinatal nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• NCLEX certified
• Hold IELTS 6.5 overall with 7 in speaking for applicants outside of the US
• Intermediate/advanced level for foetal monitoring preferred
• Caring and passionate attitude
• Effective communicator at all levels
• Composed attitude
• Work well in a team environment
