Senior C++ Developer Required, Europe, Remote Working

Skills Provision is seeking a Senior C++ Developer for a remote position.

The employing company specialises in AI, computer vision and deep learning solutions for organisations worldwide.

While this role is completely remote, owing to working practices, only applications from within the European Time Zone will be considered.

The Role

The primary focus of this role is to oversee and lead the company’s flagship product.

• Lead the development and maintenance of the application, maximising performance and reliability on Windows and Linux platforms
• Design and implement scalable and robust solutions for real-time computer vision processing
• Optimise the application for various hardware configurations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Keep up to date with industry and technical advancements
• Work collaboratively with other teams

Requirements

Essential experience:

• 5+ years of experience in C++ including modern 17 standards
• Experience in developing and optimising applications for both Windows and Linux
• Well-versed in multithreading, parallel processing, and performance optimisation techniques
• Competent in using GDB and Visual Studio Debugger for complex applications
• Skilled in software development best practices, including version control (Git), code reviews, OOP paradigm, and Test-driven development
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Natural problem solver

A strong understanding in the following will be highly desirable:

• Vision concepts
• GPU programming and optimisation (CUDA, OpenCL)
• ChatGPT and Github Copilot
• Network programming and protocols
• ImGUI
• CI/CD pipelines
