Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Cost Engineer for a company in Oman.

Salary and Benefits

The Role

• Work alongside all project disciplines to ensure an understanding of total project cost budget allowances and targets
• Take responsibility for the total integration of project cost control and reporting activities
• To identify areas of budget concern and potential impact on project financial performance
• To plan, organize and supervise the collection of data and issue of project cost reports and preparation of cost forecasts
• To participate in developing and presenting designated subjects in training classes and on-the-job training programs
• To assist in performing planning engineer functions as required
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance
• 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of the engineering/procurement industry is essential
• Fine eye for detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• An organised person who inspires confidence in others
• Hard-working & self-motivated
• Fluent in English and Arabic
